Vision

The charity’s initial vision was to create the UK’s first National Memorial to the victims of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. There can be no more fitting time to create Britain’s first international memorial to honour those enslaved. In Their Name (ITN) has since diversified from this singular Project to target wider support structures.  At its heart, the initiative also underscores the importance of embracing diverse communities. It seeks to build stronger connections, celebrate cultural heritage, and will empower individuals to contribute meaningfully to our society.
